It is a little heavier though at 9 lbs as compared to the Black and Decker Cordless hedge trimmer but it does a good job trimming hedges and bushes in one go. The battery pack is rechargeable and interchangeable with other Ryobi tools. I think choosing between the Black and Decker or Ryobi will depend on the other tools you have at home. If you have mostly Ryobi tools then I’d stick with a Ryobi cordless hedge trimmer so you have more battery packs.
